The 18-hole South course at the Torrey Pines Golf Course facility in La Jolla, California features 7,607 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 78.1 and it has a slope rating of 143. Designed by William F. Bell, ASGCA/(R) Rees Jones, ASGCA/Stephen Halsey/Jack Daray, Jr., the South golf course opened in 1957. Mark J. Woodward manages the course as the Golf Operations Manager.
